The Borough of Newport in South Wales produced a leather bound Roll of Honour dedicated to the Fallen in 1920. Some additional names were added, but the list still contained errors and omissions. David Ashwin, a member of the local branch of Western Front Association has over a period of thirteen years, painstakingly researched and recorded how the Great War affected his home area and county and brought the Roll of Honour up-to-date.
